Family dinner at Auntie's home

Auntie is mom's sister. She and her husband live close to Linh's parents through the alley. She has a very nice home. We have stopped by a couple times. Before going out to a musical performance we were invited over to Auntie's for a family dinner. The main course was goat cooked in multiple ways. Other family members we had not yet met were also invited over.

Mats were put on the floor and we had our supper traditional Vietnamese style--one the floor on the mats (we've done this twice now). The dinner was excellent especially the homemade yogurt. We also had spring rolls. All the meals are finished here with fruit and green tea.

We've tried many many fruits here and couldn't begin to take pictures of them all. They have been fabulous and nothing like our fruits in the U.S. The two fruits that have been similar are bananas are sweeter and smaller and grapes bigger. All other fruits including dragon fruit and grapefruit are like nothign we have seen. They also eat watermellon in a drink.
